Are you looking for classes in Advanced English? Do you fit in one of the following categories?

  • You are a teacher, translator or advanced learner of English who wants to continue studying at C2 or beyond, albeit at less intense level and in a more relaxed manner.
  • You want a target to aim for, such as the Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE), the highest qualification in the Cambridge English suite, indicating exceptional English proficiency and ideal or those who need to use English at a senior professional or academic levels.
  • You need to use English at a senior professional or academic level, or to study on Postgraduate studies or PhD programs.
  • You want to study English for Academic Purposes (EAP) because you want to enter a college or university where English is the language of instruction.
  • You want to develop your writing skills to a point where you can write professionally in a number of different styles, registers and genres.

Those who want to learn English beyond a certain level can not always find suitable classes. Fewer teachers offer classes at higher levels, and not all English teachers feel confident or have the experience of teaching at C1/C2+ levels.

I have experience teaching advanced level English with the British Council and other institutions, for whom I have prepared many students for the Cambridge CPE, in England, Argentina and in other countries. I have taught EAP courses for students wishing to enter undergraduate and postgraduate courses and also written and taught on methodology and linguistic courses at universities and teacher training colleges. You can see details of this in my CV.

I take on students either individually or in small groups. For all students I first perform a needs analysis and a language level test; these enable me to put together a course suitable for the student. I can provide details of how my classes are structured, materials and fees on request. Feel free to email me here.
