Today\u2019s photos are all off my iPhone (and the ones above and below off Ariel\u2019s!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4608\" height=\"3456\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/starter.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3511\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/starter.jpg 4608w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/starter-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/starter-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 4608px) 100vw, 4608px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Guaycolec was not technically open but Ariel had a key and knew everyone there so I had a very privileged visit, meeting some of the new arrivals, some of the long-term residents, and helping with the feeding of the big cats. I was very honoured to see behind the scenes of the reserve, something not easily accessible to amateur wild life enthsuiasts like me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/220829-entrance-Guaycolec-Reserve.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3514\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/220829-entrance-Guaycolec-Reserve.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/220829-entrance-Guaycolec-Reserve-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/220829-entrance-Guaycolec-Reserve-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are one or two of the residents \u2013 I will have many more photos in time. The iPhone quality is not great, especially when I\u2019ve pumped up the zoom, but they give a flavour. Siesta, blog writing and supper in turn, and an early night.
