Sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benetton.com\/patagonia\/inglese\/index-net.html\">Benetton<\/a>, it houses a beautifully displayed collection of artefacts that tell the history of Patagonia from prehistoric days until the present. Very near the main Esquel-Neuqu\u00e9n road, it is well worth a visit.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2469\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2469\" class=\"wp-image-2469 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/2-9.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/2-9.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/2-9-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2469\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Entrance to the Leleque museum<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The museum has 4 rooms: one\u00a0dedicated to the indigenous people; one recording the first contacts between Native Americans and European and North American arrivals;\u00a0one devoted to\u00a0land control and division (and the influence of private landowners and a Federal State); However, something went wrong and\u00a0we missed the turn for Angostura, not realising till we reached Confluencia. We drove some 30km down the beautiful Villa Traful road &#8230;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2479\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2479\" class=\"wp-image-2479 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/8-10.jpg\" alt=\"8\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/8-10.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/8-10-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2479\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Part of the road from Confluencia to Villa Traful<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8230; but realised it would be terribly slow, and night was setting in. So we turned around, and drove the longer way round through La Rinconada, Jun\u00edn de los Andes (where we had a pizza supper) and arrived home pooped shortly before midnight.
