I was there for a very short time as I also had shopping to do, but I did have time to take a few photos.<\/p>\n<p>First up, this rather splendid photo of downtown Buenos Aires, taken from within the reserve. This shows how close the reserve is to the city centre, but is an angle I had never seen a photo taken from &#8211; really quite unusual.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2065\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/160113-ba-from-RECS.jpg\" alt=\"160113 ba from RECS\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/160113-ba-from-RECS.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.eayrs.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/160113-ba-from-RECS-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First up, I was witness to a battle (presumably territorial) between a couple of coots and a couple of moorhens. I remember I was very low on battery and was intending to go to the zoo in the afternoon, so was preserving power.
